Leaks, ponding water and worn felt or GRP fixed properly, not just patched over. Every repair is matched to the material already on your roof.
Flat roofs fail at the same few points every time — perished felt laps, split membrane, blocked outlets and standing water that’s been left too long. We find the actual cause before doing anything, not just the spot where water’s coming through inside.
Most jobs are finished the same day. Where the covering has failed in more than one place or the deck underneath is affected, we’ll say so upfront and price a recover rather than patching a roof that’s past it.
Roof traced from the outside in to find the real entry point.
Perished or lifted felt cut back and reformed with matching material.
Split or punctured membrane repaired to suit the existing covering.
Falls corrected or outlets repositioned so water actually drains.
Blocked outlets and edge trims cleared so the roof sheds properly.
Perished flashing at walls and upstands resealed or replaced.
Full check of the membrane, laps, outlets and flashings on site.
Clear price for the repair, or a recover if patching won’t hold.
Affected area cut back, repaired and sealed with matching material.
Outlets and falls tested to confirm water clears the roof.
If the leak or damage is limited to one area and the rest of the covering is sound, a repair is usually enough. If the felt or membrane has failed in several places, or it’s over 15-20 years old, a recover is often the more cost-effective option long term. We’ll tell you which applies before quoting.
Ponding is usually caused by insufficient falls, a sagging deck, or a blocked outlet. Small amounts of standing water after rain are normal on some flat roofs, but water still sitting after 48 hours points to a drainage problem worth fixing.
Yes, but the covering needs to be dry to bond properly. We work around the weather and schedule the repair for a dry window rather than applying material to a wet roof, which won’t seal correctly.
