Low-maintenance UPVC fascias and soffits fitted to protect your roofline and keep it looking sharp for years, without the repainting.
Fascias and soffits close off the gap under your roof edge, carry the guttering, and keep water, birds and pests out of the roof space. Old timber versions rot, warp and need repainting every few years.
UPVC fascias and soffits replace that timber with a material that won’t rot or need painting, fitted properly so the roofline stays straight and the guttering sits secure.
Existing fascia and soffit boards stripped back to the rafter ends.
Rafter feet inspected for rot before any new board goes up.
New fascia boards fitted level along the full length of the roofline.
Vented soffit boards fitted to keep airflow through the roof space.
Existing or new guttering rehung onto the fascia once it’s fitted.
Corner trims and joints finished for a clean, weathertight edge.
Existing boards and rafter ends checked for rot and damage.
Old timber fascia, soffit and guttering removed from the roofline.
New fascia and soffit boards fitted level and sealed at the joints.
Guttering refitted and checked to run true along the new line.
Peeling paint, soft or crumbling timber, sagging boards or gaps letting birds into the roof space are the usual signs. If the timber is still sound, a repair may be enough rather than a full replacement.
Very little. UPVC doesn’t rot or need repainting, so maintenance is generally limited to an occasional clean to keep it looking fresh.
Yes, the guttering is taken down while the old fascia is removed, then rehung once the new UPVC boards are fitted. We check the falls when we refit it so it drains correctly.
