If the brackets, falls and most of the run are sound, repair is usually enough. We only recommend replacement when the guttering has failed in multiple places or the material has reached the end of its life.
Blocked downpipes, worn joint seals and brackets that have corroded or pulled away from the fascia are the most common causes. Left alone, the weight of trapped water makes the problem worse.
Most repairs on standard two-storey properties can be done from a tower or ladder access. We’ll tell you upfront if the height or condition of the roofline means scaffolding is the safer option.
